We may share your personal information in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of  our assets, which may be the result of a merger, consolidation, or purchase of all or a portion of our assets, or in connection with any bankruptcy or reorganisation proceeding brought by or against us.. Of course, we shall notify you and inform you of your rights.

Third-Party Service Providers

Additionally, the Website may use third-party service providers to service various aspects of the Website. Each third-party service provider’s use of your personal information is dictated by their respective privacy policies, which you are encouraged to read. We may also share your information with third-parties when you explicitly authorise us to share your information.

The Website currently uses the following third-party service providers:

Google Analytics – this service tracks Website usage and provides information such as referring websites and user actions on the Website. Google Analytics may capture your IP address, but no other personal information is captured by Google Analytics.

Mail Chimp – this service has been used for delivery of email updates and newsletters in the past. If we use it again in future, the following applies. We store your name and email address for purposes of delivering such communications.  Please refer to Mail Chimp’s privacy policy for further information.

At this time, your personal information is not shared with any other third-party applications. This list may be amended from time to time in the Website’s sole discretion.

 

SECURITY, STORAGE AND RETENTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Security

Penny Radio is committed to protecting the security of your personal information. However, while we take reasonable precautions to guard the personal information we collect, no security system is impenetrable. While no service is completely secure, Penny Radio takes precautionary measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. For example, we store the personal data you provide (currently only email addresses) on our end, which provides limited opportunity for unauthorised access and the Website is hosted and built using well-known trusted providers (Siteground and Word Press respectively) that offer the latest industry-standard security to their users.  Additionally, security plugins are utilised where necessary.

Storage and Transfer

Personal data collected by Penny Radio may be stored and processed in your region, or in any other country where Penny Radio or its third-party service providers are located or maintain facilities. Penny Radio does not currently knowingly transfer personal information outside of the United Kingdom, although its third-party service providers may do and you should familiarise yourself with their policies where this is the case. If in the future, Penny Radio does transfer personal information outside of the United Kingdom, we will ensure that adequate mechanisms are in place to protect personal information when it is transferred internationally. Your email address is only stored at our end and is not made available or transferred to any other third-party.

Retention

Penny Radio will retain your personal information for as long as we deem it necessary to enable Penny Radio to provide services to you, to comply with applicable laws (including those regarding  document retention), resolve disputes with any parties and otherwise as necessary to allow us to conduct our business. Penny Radio may at various times participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and links to Amazon.com.  As part of this Amazon Associates program, the Website may post customised links, provided by Amazon, to track the referrals to their website. This program utilises cookies to track visits for the purposes of assigning commission on these sales.

Newsletters and Post Notifications

On the Website, you may subscribe to our newsletter and post notifications, which may be used for advertising purposes. All newsletters sent may contain tracking pixels. The pixel is embedded in emails and allows an analysis of the success of online marketing campaigns. Because of these tracking pixels, we may see if and when you open an email and which links within the email you click. Also, this allows the Website to adapt the content of future newsletters to the interests of the user. This behavior will not be passed on to third parties.
